Government House Gardens, Victoria, BC

Oops! Forgot to add the write-up of the Government House Gardens!

The Government House Gardens, were just minutes from where we were staying in Victoria. While we thoroughly enjoyed the Butchart Gardens, we were amazed at the GHG! There were only about 15-20 people milling about the gardens, so we were able to enjoy the gardens at a leisurely, relaxed pace.

Enjoy!

Wow. What an incredible time you're having... the photos are all so stunning, LOVE the fish sculpture/fountain. but mostly seeing the different landscapes/plantings, trees... ok everything. I can just almost smell it all :^)
Such a treat, thank you!

Woohoo ... pictures of MY part of the world! (although I have lived in your part of the world, albeit I was a Masshole ;-)
I was checking on the progress of your Lyra after re-reading your comments on my PhoenixPalme, and saw the references to Victoria, BC, CANADA. I live on Vancouver Island ... how magnificent is THAT? And if you and yours are ever out this way, please consider yourself invited to stay in our 101 year old house (as long as you're not allergic to cats ... we have five!).
Your Lyra looks wonderful. Is it completed and blocked now?
Inquiring minds ... !!

All the best,
